California Turkey Club Wrap (1)

Is there anything more satisfying than a delicious wrap packed with fresh vegetables, deli meat, and cheese? I think it is one of the easiest things to make, but it always hits the spot!

This California Turkey Club is one of my go-to lunches. This wrap is loaded with thinly-sliced deli turkey, crispy bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and more. It is super filling while still being pretty healthy!

What ingredients do you need for a California Turkey Club Wrap?

  • Tortilla (regular, low carb or gluten free)
  • Lettuce
  • Turkey
  • Bacon
  • Cheddar
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Mustard
  • Mayonnaise

How do you make a California Turkey Club Wrap?

  1. The first step is to heat your wrap in the microwave or in a lightly-greased skillet so it is pliable (skip if you prefer cold wraps)
  2. Next, spread mustard and mayonnaise evenly on the tortilla.
  3. Top with lettuce and cheese. Add turkey slices, cooked bacon, avocado, and tomato slices down the center of the wrap. Top with salt and pepper.
  4. Roll very tightly and slice down the center.

Are wraps good for meal prep?

Of course! I find wraps are best when made fresh or just a few hours before you will enjoy them. For example, assembling them in the morning before taking to work. However, that doesn’t mean they aren’t great for meal prep.

I cook my bacon ahead of time and store in the fridge. I also love to prewash and chop my lettuce so assembling the actual wrap takes less than 10 minutes of work!

Can I make a low-carb California Turkey Club Wrap?

Yes, you definitely can make this keto-friendly! You could eliminate the tortilla altogether and instead wrap the fillings up in a few romaine lettuce leaves, saving you about 20 net carbs.

You could also use these Zucchini Keto Tortillas to save about 19 net carbs–Who doesn’t love sneaking in more veggies and more cheese?!

There are also several store-bought low-carb tortillas that will generally save you around 15 net carbs, depending on the brand you choose.

What are some other easy wrap recipes?

One of my favorite wraps is this Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. It is delicious, simple and so filling. For a meatless meal I love this Grilled Zucchini Hummus Wrap. The flavors go perfectly together and you won’t miss the meat at all!California Turkey Club Wrap (4)

Of course if you are looking for some low carb options, lettuce wraps are great too! Lettuce wraps are inexpensive, healthy, and an easy go-to recipe for lunch or dinner. Some of my favorite lettuce wraps include this Keto Buffalo Chicken Wrap and:

What should I serve with a CA Turkey Club Wrap?

This wrap has such great crunchy textures, it goes well with just about every side dish that’s easy to pack for lunch! We love these Corn Fritters, this Lima Bean Salsa, and these Crispy Smashed Potatoes with Pesto!

If you’re looking for low-carb side options, these Chili Cheese Collard Greens are one of our favorites (1 net carb for each cup!). You could also follow it up with one of these great Keto Lemon Chia Puddings as a nice, healthy sweet!
