Okay, so look. We all know I recorded some podcasts and then just stopped. Cold. And for more than a year, nothing changed. We just had Sean Sullivan’s beautiful face still staring back at us like the sarcastic angel he is.
A lot, but it boils down to two things:
- My kid stole my laptop. I mean, he didn’t steal it. He sort of appropriated it, though, because his older brother never gives him a turn on the real computer. And giving up my Chromebook is frankly easier than parenting. No laptop means no podcast production.
- The world doesn’t need another podcast of two comics shooting the shit and calling it “content.” So absent any other ideas, I decided to just let it go. For a while.
That said, I’ve got a new computer and I’ve got some decent ideas about how to make a podcast that’s not wasting everyone’s time. Will I do anything about it? Maybe. Maybe not. But at least we don’t have to look at Sullivan anymore.
